Biliteracy is often associated with the ability to read, write, understand, and use information in both English and Spanish. However, the term has come to take on broader meaning, standing for a range of knowledge, skills and abilities relating to reading, mathematics, science and more. It is about making sense and engaging proficiently, critically and creatively in the world around us.
